225Fest was founded in 2022 with a mission to celebrate the memories and memes that make our community one of a kind. From Bon Marché to Cortana to the Mall of Louisiana, we honor every era of Baton Rouge culture. Each year, we celebrate #225Day during the weekend of February 25th, showcasing the Capital City’s most beloved food, music, art, and resources in a vibrant, citywide experience.

APPLICATION PROCESS: May 23rd - July 2nd, 2025

Get Engaged

The vendor application process for 225Fest will run from Friday, May 23rd to Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025. All applicants must be registered businesses within the State of Louisiana and located in the Greater Baton Rouge Area, which includes East Baton Rouge, West Baton Rouge, Ascension, Livingston, East Feliciana, West Feliciana, Iberville, St. Helena, and Pointe Coupee parishes. A selection panel will review each application based on business incorporation, social media presence, website, quality of photos, and digital reviews. Selected vendors will receive a formal acceptance via email from 225fest@gmail.com by Tuesday, July 16th. Please note: All sales are final and no refunds will be issued for any reason. We encourage you to make necessary accommodations in advance.

This change arises from our inability to meet the expectations set by the new City of St. George for events on previously reserved BREC properties. We extend our sincere gratitude to BREC for their efforts to accommodate us under these unusual circumstances. We will bring this festival home as it should have always been to the heart of Mid City.

After a year of meticulous planning, we announce that 225FEST will return to its home in Baton Rouge. The festival is now scheduled for Sunday, March 2nd, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, at Baton Rouge Community College – Mid City Campus (203 Community College Dr.).

To ensure adequate law enforcement presence, especially considering the Spanish Town Parade on Saturday, the festival will be held exclusively on Sunday. Our commitment remains steadfast in providing a safe, family-friendly experience, as we consistently deliver. In addition to BRCC provided parking we will collaborate to provide shuttles from local parking lots to the new festival site.

We deeply appreciate your ongoing support and will continue collaborating with all partners, stakeholders, sponsors, and the broader community to celebrate our vibrant culture.

Local rapper BBE AJ took time off from recovering to support Villa del Rey Creative Science and Arts Magnet School students as they prepare for the LEAP Test. BBE Aj rocked the stage at @225fest 2024 and we continue to pray for his speedy recovery.

BBE AJ ended his surprise performance encouraging students by saying “I want ya’ll rock and roll that LEAP like ya’ll rock & roll my song”. The rapper was met by excited screams of the students who spent the pep rally reviewing important test taking tips.
